Baby Reflex™ and Toddler Reflex™ is specially adapted Reflexology for babies and toddlers. The techniques were originally developed for bonding and over the years have helped to ease, relieve and eliminate many baby discomforts proving to be very popular and successful with parents. It can be used from the age of 4 weeks onwards.

How does it work?
It works in the same way as reflexology on adults, however, it is specially adapted to suit the needs of babies and toddlers, taking into account their size and well-being. It is believed that the treatment can boost baby’s immune system, help with pains such as teething and colic, and may help to improve the quality of life for babies with conditions such as asthma.
How is it taught?
Baby Reflex™ is taught in small workshops and is broken down in to three weekly sessions, lasting around 1 hour. Over the three weeks the following will be taught.
Week 1 – Feeding & Digestion
Week 2 – Sleeping/Comforting
Week 3 – General Well Being (includes teething, ears & sinus)
Toddler Reflex™ is taught in small workshops and is broken down into two weekly sessions themed with nursery rhymes for simplicity and applied to the hands. There is an option to deliver a third week workshop if required where the techniques for the feet can be taught:

Who can attend these workshops?
Parents or guardians to use exclusively on their baby or toddler. It is not a training course for parents/guardians to use on any baby or toddler.
Who can teach Baby Reflex™/Toddler Reflex™ ?
Only a reflexologist who has qualified as a Baby Reflex™ practitioner and is fully insured. Parents ‘work’ with their own baby or toddler individually, or in groups with other parents.
Where are workshops held?
Teaching is carried out either in parent’s homes or local clinics with small groups of parents with sessions for individual families if preferred.

Who can demonstrate Baby Reflex™
Only qualified Reflexologists who are qualified Baby Reflex™ practitioners.
Baby Reflex™/Toddler Reflex™ should not be given to the child immediately after vaccination. You should wait 48 hours.
How did it all begin?
Jenny Lee, MCSP MAR, who is both a Chartered Physiotherapist and a Qualified Reflexologist and Teacher, had been working with Mothers and young children for over fifteen years during which time she carried out a number of pilot studies in conjunction with children’s GPs, designed to examine the effects of Reflexology on childhood asthma. The results of those studies revealed benefits of reduced asthma; better sleep patterns; greater ability to relax; a much improved “quality of life “, and, perhaps most important of all, an enjoyment by those children, of the actual treatment of Reflexology.
Those results were so valuable to those children that Jenny decided to introduce this new and exciting concept for Reflexology, called “Baby Reflex™”
